Thornburg announced a strategic partnership with Boden Capital.
- Strategic partnership aims to increase awareness of $57 billion New Mexico firm among institutional investors
- Investors to gain access to Thornburg’s five actively managed global equity and fixed income UCITS funds
SANTA FE, NM – xx February 2026 – Thornburg Investment Management (“Thornburg”), a global, privately owned investment firm with $57 billion in client assets1, today announced a strategic partnership with Boden Capital to expand its presence among institutional investors across the Nordic region.
The collaboration will give investors in the region broader access to Thornburg’s UCITS fund range, including the Global Opportunities Fund and the Equity Income Builder Fund, as well as additional actively managed global equity and fixed income strategies.
The Nordic market is recognised for its sophisticated institutional investor base, characterised by strong governance standards, long-term capital stewardship, and a preference for active, research-driven investment approaches. This environment is well aligned with Thornburg’s high-conviction, benchmark-agnostic investment philosophy.
“Partnering with Boden Capital represents an important step in our international expansion,” said Jonathan Schuman, head of international at Thornburg. “Nordic investors are highly discerning and place a strong emphasis on rigorous research, transparency, and long-term outcomes. Boden Capital’s deep regional expertise, strong institutional relationships, and focused capital-introduction model make them an ideal partner as we broaden access to Thornburg’s differentiated investment capabilities.”
Erik Orving and Mats Eltoft, co-founders of Boden Capital, commented: “Thornburg’s long-term, research-driven and disciplined investment approach resonates strongly with Nordic institutional investors, particularly given the emphasis on governance, downside awareness and consistency across market cycles. We are delighted to partner with Thornburg and look forward to supporting their engagement with investors across the region and building long-term, strategically aligned partnerships.”
This agreement extends Thornburg’s global reach and underscores the firm’s commitment to providing independent, research-driven investment solutions designed to support investors’ long-term financial objectives.
