Thornburg Campus
The integration of architecture and advanced environmental technologies is exemplified in the Thornburg campus. Tiered down a sloping hillside facing the Sangre de Cristo mountains, the structures successfully maximize the challenging site space, while maintaining a striking aesthetic and preserving the natural look of the site.
The campus received a LEED Gold certification from the United States Green Building Council. Many of the LEED features surpass industry standards for air quality, daylight control, and water and energy conservation.

Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
Everyone benefits from a more equal and inclusive environment. At Thornburg, we embrace a diverse, equitable and inclusive workplace in which our employees are empowered to share their full identities, ideas and perspectives. A culture built on diversity, equity and inclusivity is essential to achieve our clients’ investment goals and vital to our firm’s success.
We are committed to communicating directly with transparency and truth—across all roles and partnerships. Thornburg supports multiple employee-led and employee-organized groups with missions to advance diversity, equality and inclusion inside Thornburg and the communities in which we live.

Our mission is to recognize, promote and accept the diverse and distinct backgrounds of all members of the Thornburg team.
Philanthropy & Volunteerism
We believe in global citizenship and making an impact on the world for the better. Annually, we support over 50 charitable organizations that meet specific Thornburg objectives, including arts & culture, education, human services and other areas that enrich people's lives.
Thornburg provides employees two days of paid time off per calendar year for volunteer activities, encouraging colleagues to serve the communities in which we work.
Girls Inc. of Santa Fe

For 66 years, Girls Inc. of Santa Fe has inspired girls to be Strong, Smart and Bold. They provide girls throughout Santa Fe with life-changing experiences and real solutions to the unique issues girls face.
The Museum of New Mexico Foundation

The Museum of New Mexico Foundation was founded in 1962 by Thomas B. Catron III as a vehicle for providing private support for the four state museums in Santa Fe. The establishment of the private, nonprofit Foundation launched a robust private-public partnership between the Foundation and the State of New Mexico that continues today.
Explora Museum

Explora is a unique place that puts people’s learning in their own hands. Families and people of all ages can learn together through over 250 exhibit activities in science, technology and art. Explora advocates for lifelong, materials-rich inquiry, while acknowledging that it isn’t always easy.
Santa Fe Conservation Trust

The Santa Fe Conservation Trust partners with the community to keep northern New Mexico’s living lands and people flourishing together. They protect culturally and environmentally significant landscapes, ignite people’s passion for nature and enable the continual regeneration of a healthy place. By providing landowners with tools to place their lands into voluntary conservation status, they now oversee the protection of more than 43,000 acres in northern New Mexico.
Santa Fe Opera

The Santa Fe Opera has been a fixture in the City Different since 1956. Surrounded by the picturesque high desert and mountains of northern New Mexico, the Santa Fe Opera’s outdoor complex was lauded by TIME magazine as “one of the handsomest operatic settings in the Western Hemisphere.” The inspirational landscape elevates the opera’s productions each year, serving as a natural backdrop to the global talent gracing its stage.
Education Program
Thornburg donates $500 to pre-K and $1,000 to K-12 classrooms at schools attended by children of Thornburg employees. These unconstrained donations are used in over 100 classrooms around the U.S. to fund much-needed music and arts programs, online subscriptions, virtual programming, items for classroom projects, books for school libraries and more.
Dollars for Doers Program
Beyond writing checks, we encourage volunteerism. Thornburg employees who serve as a board member or contribute forty hours per year of uncompensated labor at 501(c)(3) organizations qualify for an annual $1,000 contribution to those organizations where they serve. We currently support nearly 40 organizations where our employees are deeply involved.

The Thornburg Foundation invests in enduring solutions to help solve problems affecting people and our planet. They work as catalysts for high-impact outcomes using evidence to understand and solve systemic problems, engaging stakeholders to drive policy reform, and creating meaningful and lasting change.
