Ben Song, CFA, FRM, CIIA

Ben Song is a senior equity research analyst for Thornburg Investment Management. He joined the firm in 2021 as an equity research analyst and was promoted to senior equity research analyst in 2022.

Prior to joining Thornburg, Ben worked in Beijing as a portfolio manager at Green Fund Management. He was also a portfolio manager and analyst for Manulife TEDA Fund Management in Beijing, and he began his career in finance as a sellside analyst for China Great Wall Securities. Ben holds an MBA degree from Cornell University, S.C. Johnson School of Business, an MS degree in mechanical engineering from Tsinghua University, and a BS degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Science and Technology Beijing. He is a CFA, FRM and CIIA charterholder.
