Arzoo Semrud, CFA

Arzoo Semrud is a fixed income analyst for Thornburg Investment Management. She joined Thornburg in April 2022 as a fixed income trade associate and was promoted to her current position in 2025.

Arzoo graduated from Lenoir Rhyne University with a BA in finance and international economics. Prior to Thornburg, she served as a fixed income analyst at Voya Investment Management on the agency MBS trading desk with the private credit high yield team, analyzing middle market and distressed debt. Arzoo also worked on Voya’s data analytics group as a junior analyst.
