
Tanya Kemos

Tanya Kemos brings over 30 years of investment experience to the board. In May 2024, she joined San Francisco-based Union Square Investment Company as a member and serves on the investment advisory committee. In addition, she became a member and joined the investment committee of Peregrine Financial Corp in June 2024. At both organizations, Tanya is part of a small group that provides portfolio advice with decision-making authority for multi-generational private clients.
Until last year, Tanya spent 23 years at Cambridge Associates. She was most recently a managing director for the endowment & foundation practice at the firm. In her role, she worked with large institutional investors, colleges and universities, foundations, hospitals, and private clients with assets ranging in size from $100 million to over $1 billion in the U.S. and Europe. Tanya managed customized portfolios as an OCIO and in a non-discretionary capacity to meet critical financial and client alignment objectives. She has deep expertise in asset allocation, private equity as well as ESG and governance. Before joining Cambridge in 2001, Tanya worked at Goldman Sachs & Co., oHG in Frankfurt, Germany, where she researched and modeled strategy for the European Monetary Union currency conversion and helped execute the Deutsche mark conversion process, and Goldman Sachs International in London.
In her personal time, Tanya is a co-president of the board of directors of the Marin Football Club in Marin County, California.
Tanya received her MBA from Yale University and a BA from the University of California San Diego.
