
Joseph Feloney, CAIA, CIMA
Head of International
Joe Feloney is head of international for Thornburg Investment Management. He is responsible for leading Thornburg’s non-U.S. business efforts to develop and advance relationships with Thornburg’s institutional and intermediary distribution partners located outside the U.S. as well as serving the NRC market.
Previously, Joe was a managing director at Jackson with the specialized Private Wealth & Trust team. Prior to that, Joe was the head of private wealth management, sub-advised, and investment-only divisions for Columbia Threadneedle Investments. In this role, he led the private banking, RIA, defined contribution, and insurance-focused teams. Before that, he was responsible for offshore activities in Europe and Japan. In addition to a variety of business development and relationship management roles, Joe has held senior-level financial and operational roles, including interim chief financial officer for one of the Columbia Threadneedle Investments legacy firms, which he joined in 1987.
Joe received a B.S.B.A. from Northeastern University and an MBA with a concentration in finance and investments from Bentley College. In addition, he holds the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst and Certified Investment Management Analyst designations.
