Jon Norman

Director, Institutional Sales

Jon Norman is the director, institutional sales at Thornburg Investment Management, responsible for growing the firm’s institutional client channel. He works closely with institutional consultants, pension plans, endowments and foundations, and insurance companies to develop investment solutions that help clients achieve their long-term objectives.

Before joining Thornburg, Jon was a senior director of distribution at L&G, US Asset Management, where he led institutional sales efforts across the Southeast. Earlier in his career, he was a senior global macro analyst at Balyasny Asset Management, specializing in rates, currencies and credit across emerging markets. He also worked as a senior associate at Performance Trust Capital Partners and began his career as a CPA at RSM McGladrey.

Jon holds a BS in business with majors in finance and accounting from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University Bloomington.
