Hal Whalen

Hal Whalen is a senior investment consultant for Thornburg Investment Management. He covers the Mid-Atlantic region, including MD, DC, VA, DE and WV. Before joining Thornburg in 2020, Hal worked as a vice president and managing regional director in the Chesapeake region and as a regional director in Los Angeles for Natixis Investment Managers. Prior to Natixis, Hal worked as an investment consultant at Eaton Vance.
Hal is currently registered with FINRA with a Series 6, 7, 63 and 65. He earned a BA in economics from the University of Vermont in 2002.
