Derek Wright joined Thornburg Investment Management in 2024 as a senior investment consultant covering the Southeast region, including Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, and the panhandle of Florida. Before joining Thornburg, Derek worked as a regional wealth consultant with DWS, covering the same footprint. He began his career at Merrill Lynch.

Derek earned a BS from Indiana University – Bloomington with an emphasis in economics and is currently registered with FINRA with a Series 7 and 63.
