Dan Martinez is a lead analyst, working in the portfolio analytics and risk group, a part of the investment team responsible for risk management and investment analytics at Thornburg Investment Management. The group deploys both industry-standard and proprietary tools to gain insight into the nonlinear additive nature of portfolio construction across multiple asset classes, market environments, and desired outcomes. Dan joined the firm in 2013.
Dan holds BBA and MBA degrees from University of New Mexico’s Anderson School of Management, with concentrations in finance, management of technology, management information systems, and operations. Prior to his current role at Thornburg, he held multiple senior positions in the firm’s business development and investment data analytics groups. He is a CFA charterholder.
