Copeland Filoon is director of platform development at Thornburg Investment Management, responsible for platform business development and intermediary due diligence group relationship management. Copeland joined the firm in 2017.
Prior to Thornburg, Copeland was a director, client portfolio manager at Symphony Asset Management, responsible for communication of portfolio attribution, strategy positioning, market outlook, and development of investment solutions for high-net-worth and institutional investors. He previously worked for Franklin Templeton Investments as vice president, senior product manager for the Franklin Fixed Income Group. He has also held various senior-level positions at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, New England Pension Consultants (NEPC), mPower Advisors, and Standard & Poor’s.
Copeland received a BA in economics from Vanderbilt University. He is registered with FINRA with a Series 7 and 63 and is a CFA and CAIA charterholder.
