Blair Naylor

Blair Naylor began her career in financial services in 1987 at Bear Stearns & Co. Over the next decade, she worked as a financial advisor, first at Merrill Lynch and subsequently at Smith Barney, serving individual investors, families, and charitable organizations. In 2002, Blair founded Palace Capital Management LLC, a Santa Fe-based registered investment advisor and family office serving accredited investors. Palace Capital, which specialized in the construction and management of hedge fund and private equity portfolios, closed to outside investors in 2014.
Blair joined the Thornburg Board of Directors in 2021 and currently serves as chair of its audit committee. She is also vice president and treasurer of the Thornburg Foundation; a director of Pecos River Management; and the investment committee chair of both organizations. As a trustee of her family’s charitable foundation since 1987, Blair has been active in philanthropy and has served on numerous nonprofit boards and investment committees.
Blair earned a BA from Tulane University.
