Client Portfolio Manager
Benjamin Keating, CFA, is a client portfolio manager for Thornburg Investment Management. In this role, Ben serves as a liaison between the portfolio management teams at Thornburg and key investment decision makers in the industry. He covers a variety of strategies and asset classes, spanning domestic and international equities, alternatives and fixed income. Ben represents the firm’s global investment capabilities and advises clients, prospects, and consultants on global investing issues. He joined Thornburg in 2025.
Ben has over 30 years investment management experience. For 13 years, he served as vice president and portfolio advisor at Wellington Management Company. He was also a senior vice president and portfolio strategist for Hartford Investment Management Company. Prior to that, he was director of investment strategy for Capital Advisors Group. Ben began his career as global bond analyst/trader at Standish Mellon Asset Management. He earned his BS in finance from Siena College and his MBA from Boston University. He is a CFA charterholder.
